ADD FUEL is the work of Portuguese artist Diogo Machado.

As a reflection of pain endured, scars are the provenance of an arduous event. But scars are also a remembrance of what was, and living proof, of what we can endure if we keep a positive mindset.
This unique artwork was created during July of 2023 in Add Fuel’s studio, as a meditative therapy in process – breaking, destroying and subsequently recreating and putting back together (yes, metaphorically), to show us that scars hold beauty.
